About Gimmer
Gimmer is a local-first desktop workspace for people who want to understand a strategy before they trust it with capital. Design, backtesting, optimization, simulation, live execution, and runtime evidence stay connected in one operating path.
Why Gimmer exists
Trading automation becomes easier to reason about when creation, evidence, execution, and monitoring are treated as parts of the same system.
The desktop app runs on the operator’s computer, with exchange connections and strategy data controlled from that environment.
Backtests, parameter comparisons, simulation, drawdown, positions, orders, and runtime activity make the trade-offs inspectable before and during operation.
Gimmer supplies the operating tools. The user chooses the strategy, settings, allocation, connected account, and whether real-money execution should begin.
The team
The current Gimmer team combines engineering, product direction, and market research around a shared goal: make automated trading more understandable to operate.

Founder & product
Pérsio leads the product direction: giving independent operators clearer control over how strategies are built, tested, and run.
Product marketing & research
Michel brings advertising, data, and product research together to position Gimmer around the needs of real trading operators.
Operate with context
No automated strategy removes market, software, exchange, or operational risk.
